TMWRF - River Monitoring Data (continuous)

The TMWRF dataset contains continuous hourly SONDE data from various sampling sites along the Truckee River. The SONDEs collect basic water quality parameters such as temperature, pH, cpecific conductivity and dissolved oxygen. Sampling locations, minimum reporting limits and analytical methods used are available in this metadata record.

Values less than the reporting limits are non-zero estimated values to simplify mathematical manipulation of the data.

Analytical Method:
Ending dates in first spreadsheet attached vary from 2/1/08-3/30/08. Ending dates for second quarter vary from 6/25/08 to 7/6/08.

Geographic Coverage:
Sonde water quality measurements for Truckee River sites throughout Reno and North Truckee Drain samples are recorded hourly.

Current 2011:
#3 at East McCarren bridge (Grab samples downstream side of bridge, benthics taken downstream of bridge, sonde was removed around 2008, but had been) located at 39 deg/ 31'02" x 119 deg 44'23"
#5 Old Clark bridge at USA Parkway (Benthics in river, grabs taken from downstream side of bridge). Sonde monitoring is performed at the old Tracy bridge at Powerplant. 39 deg. 33'80" x 119 deg 29'29"
