Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP)

Our mission is to preserve and enhance the environment of the state in order to protect public health, sustain healthy ecosystems and contribute to a vibrant economy.

Major programs administrated by the Division include air and water quality, hazardous and solid waste, recycling, hazardous chemicals, mining reclamation, federal facilities, soil and water remediation, safe drinking water, and water pollution control.
